34067 Tangmere with The
Settle & Carlisle Steam Special
(The Northern Belle)
6th April 2024
(Carnforth - Shap - Carlisle - Appleby - Settle - Hellifield - Blackburn - Preston)
The train is seen on climb to Shap passing Scout Green on the West Coast Mainline
and then Ais Gill on the S&C.
The trip started at York with 57601 Windsor Castle and 57313 Scarborough Castle.
Steam came on at Carnforth and off at Preston where the train reversed to head back to Manchester with the two diesels.
57313 was on the rear during the steam hauled part of the tour.
